BICEPS.CH is a Swiss organisation specialising in helping children with learning difficulties. For 16 years now, biceps.ch has been making life easier for children and parents. Based on the Swiss school system, biceps.ch provides effective support for learning and training.

Faced with growing demand and a customer base that sometimes only needed educational tools, BICEPS.CH decided to create an online platform to offer a wide range of educational tools. Explanatory videos, dictations and interactive exercises have been integrated into different subjects to enhance children's learning.

Since 2015, BICEPS.CH has chosen to work with Voxygen to enhance the user experience by integrating our high-quality text-to-speech solution. One of the key features we have been able to offer BICEPS.CH is a specific voice for dictation. Thanks to our advanced technology, we were able to provide BICEPS.CH with a voice with an adapted reading speed, intonation and pronunciation. This customisation makes a major contribution to the effectiveness of dictation and enhances the learning experience.

We have found no equivalent to this voice on the market in terms of value for money.

BICEPS.CH uses the TTS Voxygen Cloud solution. The solution was easily integrated and is appreciated for its reliability and ease of use. It responds perfectly to the need for dynamic access to speech synthesis in real time. BICEPS.CH users can create their own personalised content and vocalise it for dictation, for example. The texts are therefore always different.

The Voxygen Cloud solution is a "REST" type API. The client application sends the text to be vocalised via an HTTP request containing all the necessary information and optional parameters (voice, audio format, speech rate, pitch, volume, etc.). The service responds immediately with the corresponding audio voice data.
