Voxygen’s technology for Orange

Voxygen has a very special relationship with Orange, as the company is Orange’s historical supplier of text-to-speech solutions.

All of Voxygen's solutions are deployed at Orange adapted to the needs and size of the service. Orange uses Voxygen's text-to-speech solutions for its internal needs (IVR for internal services) as well as for customer services or for the resale of B2B solutions via various offers supported by Orange Business.

Orange IVRs

Voxygen has created Catherine and Robyn branded digital voices for Orange, which conveys Orange's vocal identity. This voice is deployed in Voxygen's solutions, Voxygen Studio and Voxygen Server, to meet the needs of internal voice servers such as HR, but also for Customer IVR, which is evolving towards voicebot use. New uses such as voicebot make voice synthesis essential for the vocalisation of personalised dynamic content in real time.

Accessibility

Orange also embodies a strong CSR policy, investing in the comfort and inclusion of employees with visual disabilities in particular. This is why the 'Accessibility for All' team approached Voxygen in 2022 to provide voices and develop specific lexicons deployed on the workstations of the employees concerned, based on the Voxygen Device solution.

Orange Business

Several Orange Business departments have deployed Voxygen's TTS on a large scale with catalogue voices in several languages, integrated into the Orange Business products and services offered to business customers. Many Orange Business customers use Voxygen's text-to-speech (without even knowing it).

MVP use case

The Managed Voice Portal product is an Interactive Voice Server solution from Orange Business that enables companies to welcome, inform and direct their customers quickly and efficiently. It is an IVR solution that can be configured and customised using natural language and the properties of voice synthesis. It is built on Genesys technology. Voxygen's solutions are integrated into MVP via the Voxygen Server in seven different languages. The service is high availability, accessible 24/7.

Orange is currently implementing more innovative customer relations systems in which interaction is becoming increasingly personalised and where voice responses need to be created on the fly in real time, which requires the deployment of our voice synthesis. These dynamic uses of voice assistance are expanding rapidly and Voxygen is supporting Orange in this transformation of customer relations.
